While he was resting and drinking tea in the company of his butler, Batman noticed a help sign in the sky and now he is rushing to his hideout. There he finds out that evil Pigsaw took Batgirl and he is asking Batman to find her. Pigsaw is well known for his deviant games, and this time Batman is a part of one and has no choice but to comply. If he doesn't find the girl in time, Pigsaw will kill her. He's got teleporting machine at his disposal, and can easily change location with it: from Mexico to Batcave or Hideout. During his search Batman will encounter numerous problems he will need to solve. He must collect objects and use them intelligently so he could overcome obstacles. The game is filled with many of Batman's old 'acquaintances' like 'Two-face', 'Scarecrow', 'Mad Hatter', 'Batwoman', 'Riddler', 'Poison Ivy', 'Lizzard', 'Joker', 'Penguin'. Almost everybody is there and he will take each one of them on individually.

Rules of the game

Controls are explained in great detail inside the game. This is basically point and click game, and you move from one scene to another by clicking on the screen. Interaction with objects is somewhat more complicated. There are three modes: mouth (to eat, bite), hand (to pick up or hit) and eye (information). There is inventory at the bottom of the screen and there you can place obtained items. Some of the objects are intended to be combined with other objects from the inventory before they can be used. To use an object, you simply drag it from the inventory to the appropriate spot on the screen. Only valid moves will give result.

How to play - Walktrough

There are many items to be used here, and I shall name only some of them: a candy, portable hole, bat-fan, bat-boomerang, acid pill, hardener liquid, glue, rope, magnifying glass, somniferous, bag of candies, cat ... First you should go to Mexico. Talking to the girl you meet there won't be very helpful. Go back to hideout. Use candy to lure Carra De Barro monster and then use hardener liquid to destroy it. Throw in the cat through the barred window and into the room where Two-face is. Pick up a piece of paper and study its contents. That will help you discover the right code for the keyboard. Type: 7452. Pick up the trampoline and return to Mexico. Use the trampoline to climb the tree and rescue a small dog called Paloma and return it to the girl.

The game is pretty long and complex so the walktrough is really necessary. Even when he liberates his girl, Batman is facing the 'final test', which makes this hard game even harder. In just 15 seconds the room he is in will be filled with lethal gas. The only way to stop the mechanism and open the door is to enter the right code.

Why 'Pigsaw'?

The origins of this charcter can be found in movie series Saw, which started in 2004. There is an anonymous killer, who is taking his victims and setting sadistic traps for them. 'Jigsaw killer' or just 'Jigsaw' started his killing spree in the year of the 'pig' - and that is the reason he is wearing pig mask in one of the sequels. Inkagames used this fact to put this character in some of their games and call him 'Pigsaw'. However, as far as I have seen, Pigsaw doens't have the pig mask but simple white mask with spiral red cheeks. Inkagames have made several games with characters like Lisa Simpson, Batman and Barak Obama.
