Rise Of The Batmobile - a Brief Historical Retrospective

Infographics are narrow informative graphic boards made usually for advertisement reasons. They tend to process some very popular subject in an interesting, clever and eye appealing fashion in order to promote a company who ordered its creation in the first place. Since Batman is one of the most popular superheros in the last 50 years or so, he is quite often picked for some infographics here and there. This particular one is depicting a brief history of Batman's favorite vehicle - batmobile. This is the Evolution Of The Batmobile.

In 1941, "The Convertible Crusader" was far subtle than it's successors even with its bright red painjob....

The "60's Cruiser", coverted from an ordinary Loncoln Futura, with destinctive fins and black paintjob was equipped with atomic turbine engine, near limitless supply of bat-branded gadgets and two rear-mounted parachutes.

In 1986, batmobile goes full-tank and turns into an all-steel War Machine.

1995 brings one of the most interesting versions of Batmobile "The Rave Hover": adjustable wheels, vertical driving capability, system diagnostic gadgets ...

It's impossible to go without Christopher Nolans' game changer version of the "Real World Revenger" back in 2005. Batpod mode, twin front mounted machine guns, heavy armor plating and controlled jet engine gives you a vehicle any of us die-hard fans would desperately like to take a sit at least for a sec.

And finally, Batman vs Superman annouces it's own version, obviously inspired by Nolans' Tumbler, but a lot improved war machine delivering enough horsepower to go over 200mph.
