Spiderman VS Lizard Clones
About the game
This is a first perspective 3D shooter. You practically can't even see Spiderman, except for his hand which is shooting out web. Lizard man, the villain Spiderman is fighting against, has obviously perfected the replication technique, and he is multiplying himself into dozens of clones. Since this game resembles defense games, levels here are called waves. Each wave consists of 11 Lizards. The only difference between levels is that with each new wave Lizards are more aggressive and have better organized attack.

Those webs Spiderman is throwing look like an electrical arch more then a web. Recharge is automatic, but the problem is that Spiderman is completely defenceless during that time. There is limited time to finish each mission, but it is possible to 'add' more time if you pick up certain gadgets form the ground.
Controls
While playing this game for 10 minutes or so, I haven't noticed any problems regarding controls. Movement is very smooth and there are no glitches in the game, even though it is in 3D. You use arrow keys to move and you can also move left ('Z') and right ('C'). The most important is the shooting key 'X'.

Who is Lizard exactly?
Lizard is the doctor Connor's alter ego. He is a scientist and a colleague of Peter Parker's father. Basically he is a good guy and Spiderman's friend. However, after he takes a limb regenerating serum, he turns into a giant Lizard and becomes one of the most dangerous villains. At first he didn't want to experiment on humans, but later on his plan becomes just that, to infect the population with serum and thus create a large army of humanoid lizards. He is one of the oldest Marvel's characters, dating back to the sixties and the time of Amazing Spiderman.

Lizard in Movies and Games
Lizard is one of the main villains in Amazing Spiderman movie from 2012. Actor Rhys Ifans is playing Dr. Curt Connors. And since there is the video game which goes with a movie, Lizard is also the villain The Amazing Spider-Man video game from 2012.
About Lizard's role in the movie.
Peter Parked had accidentally helped Dr. Connors develop a serum for limb regeneration, which is very common in lizards. Due to the pressure from his employer to start human testing, Dr. Connors had tested the serum on himself, and it worked. His missing right arm had fully regenerated which means it grew back completely. However, this serum has its side effects. Nice doctor occasionally transforms into an aggressive genetic mutant - lizard-man, with superhuman strength and speed, endurance and senses. At first Lizard doesn't know that Peter is really the Spiderman, but at the end, their duel is inevitable. You can see the fight in high school between these two in the clip from the movie down below. Here you can really see just how dangerous opponent Lizard is. He has extraordinary acrobatic skills and strength, but he is still powerless against Spiderman's spider web. This scene is specially interesting because the very creator of Spiderman - Stan Lee - appears in a supporting role.
