Batwoman is a positive superhero, a true crime fighter, who lives also in Gotham City. Probably she has been made to parry Batman and to appeal to girls audience who also read comic books and play games, equally as boys do. Batwoman is an alter ego of woman named Kate or Kathy Kane

Catwoman is an ex-thief, a woman named Selina Kyle, also known as The Cat. She is in the opposite side of the law, but in some sort of love-hate relationship with Batman. He fights her but would never make her harm, as a true gentleman. She wears a special suit and a cat-looking mask. She can snap the opponents neck just by using her whip or make him bleed with her sharp metal claws.

Bat-girl is a positive female superhero, also belonging to DC-Comics and also inspired by Bat-man, a character who used to appear in the comic-books of the 60s. She is known as Bette Kane and is a cousin of Batwoman (Kate Kane) - hence the common last name. You should look at Bat-girl as a younger protege of the original Batwoman. The first and the original Bat-girl was named Barbara Gordon, daughter of police commissioner James Gordon.
