Batman Shoot Em Up
Controls
I don't like shooters with zillions controls where you go around, dropping bombs, setting up traps, shooting and avoiding obstacles, all that by using almost every button on your keyboard. Let's keep it simple and focus on the action. Arrow keys are for moving and space bar is for shooting. Only 6 levels, 5 locked. Old school shooter, my personal choice.

As soon as the level start, you get to know your enemies. Some familiar faces, old pals: Lizard and Bane on level 1. Who knows, who we might see later on. Picking up 'batarangs' (or coins) seems like an easy task to do, but really pointless. Ammo fills up to the max by itself without the need for you to actually pick up some boxes or do anything like that. OK, so we can shoot as much as we like, cool, not challenging, but cool though.

Whether you did it or failed, at the end you will get to see the screen with some statistics, about how many enemies you have destroyed, total number of coins you have collected and of course the overall score. Pretty much everything I hoped for in a basic shooter like this.

Levels seem to change a bit, but generally, walking around the place, jumping on and off the platforms made out of stacked boxes or tyres is pretty much all you do. Killing enemies is piece of cake, but each time you take a bullet your health meter goes down, and you can't recover it until you finish the level. Therefore, I would be lying if I told you that playing this game is challenging, as it's not really. But, on the other hand, graphics is really nice and I really enjoyed at least for a while to pretend to be the Dark Knight.
