Would you like to see Batman jumping from one rooftop to the next? I bet you'd say there's nothing new about that right? Well, in this game there isn't much more Batman can actually do but jumping, collecting coins and avoiding or destroying villains, and all that stuff. You have a limited time, exactly 100 seconds to complete the level, which is more than enough even for the first time player. This classical platformer is real time-waster with a decent graphics but nothing more than that. It lacks in good game play, maybe upgrades, weapons and all the rest that makes one flash action game appealing to the players. This is the 2nd part of Batman Xtreme Adventure, but obviously developers were hastened to publish the game too soon, without working on the story line and it's options a little bit more.

Game Overview

The game is a classical platformer but very poorly done. Batman options are very limited and he can do very little here. There's no shooting, no batarangs throwing and no gadgets in his utility belt. You can practically finish the whole game without killing a single enemy, if you just keep on jumping over them. But if don't like the idea of Batman being a cowered who avoids the fight, and if you decide to do something more than just jumping all over the place, there is a way to spice things up. If you want to kill a foe, jump right on his head. But, if any of them only touches you, you lose a life and start the level from the beginning. That's not a problem if you have in mind that you started off with 10 lives which is more than enough for this easy game.

Villains

All villains act the same no matter who is in question, the Penguin, a flying bird or any other bad guy. They just keep coming at you, acting the same way as everybody else. The number of villains does increase in higher levels but that's it. The game is somewhat boring because the first three levels are almost identical and you will complete them without any problems at all. No additional challenges or actions to stir things up. One more way to lose a life is to jump in a space between the buildings, but that kind of jump must be really just a fluke because there is no real reason why would you want to do something like that. As you progress through the levels you can collect the Batman coins which add up to the total score. There aren't many good things about this game, perhaps we can compliment on the graphics which is descent but nothing more than that. The music sounds batmanish but goes round and round and there is no mute button so that might be also pretty annoying. The only way to shut the music is to do it on your computer or to turn of the speakers. Still, this game is a great time waster for those who have that kind of time or those who are first time players or novice to flash gaming. If that is the case you will find all the fun you need in this game.
