Robin is Batman's sidekick. When most people think of Batman, they think of Robin as well. The two men are often referred to as the Dynamic Duo and the Caped Crusaders. Together, they work to fight crime and protect citizens, in Gotham City and elsewhere.

Robin has been played by several different characters, including Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne. His addition to the comic, which occurred later in the series, was a successful one. It helped to significantly increase comic book readership. However, he has never garnered the esteem that Batman has.

Superman and Batman teamed up in the Justice League. Their relationship has mostly been a good one. However, there have been some periods of discord. Overall, the two superheroes respect each other's mission and are willing to work together whenever the occasion calls for it.

Batman has a host of friends. Many are superheroes but not all of him them are. His most trusted friend, confidant and butler, Alfred Pennyworth is not. Batwoman, Flash, Robin, Green Arrow and Superman are. At one time or another, Batman as worked alongside each of the above to fight crime and defeat common enemies.
