Batman and The Avengers

Nick FuryWho Are The Avengers? Nick Fury, who is the top dog of the espionage agency that is called S.H.I.E.L.D. enters Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. This particular project is a remote research facility that needs to be evacuated due to the Tesseract being activated and has opened a portal in outer space. Nick Fury's second-in-command, Maria Hill, tells the crew that nobody knows how strong the Tesseract really is and that it can be potentially harmful because the potency of this energy source is not certain.

Unfortunately, the opening of this portal allows Loki, an exiled Asgardian prince to come back into the world and cause a significant amount of trouble. The trouble begins when this Asgardian prince takes the Tesseract and controls the minds of the most intelligent people of the operation in order to formulate his getaway. Among these important people are physicist Dr. Erik Selvig and Agent Clint Barton. Avenegers Image

Of course, Loki's escape is followed a huge heap of trouble. Fury and the other Avengers must fight to get the energy source back into their hands. Important figures, like the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor are on the side of the Avengers.

During the course of battling it out with Loki, the Avengers become divided as to how they will defeat him. Tragically, they begin fighting amongst themselves. It takes the death of one of their teammates, Coulson, to reunite everyone and cause them to strategize how they will defeat Loki.

A battle between Loki and the Avengers takes place in Manhattan, New York. At first, it appears that the Avengers will be defeated. When all seems lost, the Hulk jumps in and easily beats Loki into submission. After the Hulk wins this battle, Romanoff, another one of the teammates talks with Selvig, who is no longer influenced by powerful mind control. Selvig tells Romanoff that Loki's staff is the instrument that needs to be used in order to close the portal and prevent him from coming back through again.

Here's the funny scene where Hulk beats Loki.

Fury holds this evil Asgardian prince responsible for all of his crimes by taking him and the Tesseract to Asgard. Once this is done, Fury states that all of the Avengers will be free to go their separate ways until another world threat occurs, and they need to fight back.

Can Batman be among the Avengers? Batman against Avengers image

Some have wondered if Batman can be among the Avengers. The answer to this question is "no." The reason Batman cannot be among the Avengers is because he does not seem like the kind of character who likes to avenge enemies. He is the kind of guy who merely wants to see justice done. If someone is wronged, he will make sure a fair punishment is given. He does not go around avenging people like the rest of the heroes may do. Batman also does not have the power that many of the other heroes have, though he does possess outstanding intelligence. He has a good brain that allows him to be resourceful and put together outstanding strategy, a capability that has always helped him to defeat his enemies.
