Lego Batman, the mobile edition, is a one player game which focuses on the story of Batman and his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, when some of his biggest enemies, like the Joker, The Riddler and the Penguin, bust out of the Arkham asylum.

Your challenge is to make it through all of their various goons and take them down one by one on your way to trying to capture the Joker, the Riddler and the Penguin and put them back where they belong!

The graphics are a bit similar to the platforms it has come out on previously, not much different from Xbox or play station versions of the Lego Batman game, just scrunched down to fit your mobile phone screen. The characters actually seem a little more realistic and less like block characters than the platform games. But you still get the fun and cartoony backdrops of Arkham City you love from the platform games you may have played.

The controls are a little tougher to get use to and slow the game down a but. Not quite as easy as platform versions, and that has led to some less than spectacular ratings from some reviewers.

The game has received ratings from several gaming sites that range between 5/10 and 8/10, where as most gamers that have posted independent reviews seem to give it more consistently high marks around 8/10 and 9/10 for its fun lego style concept and better than most mobile game graphics.

Lego Batman the mobile edition will run you about 3 pounds or $4.50 or so, and is well worth the price of admission if you enjoy playing fun action adventure games from the comfort of your phone!
