You are in Batman Games 2014

The plot goes like this: Batman runs on the rooftops of the buildings while his enemies Penguin and some guy in a green approach. They do not use any kind od firearms neither they are particularly aggressive, but if you just touch one of these guys - you're dead. Dying that way is a lame. I was expecting a fight, but the game comes down to skip gaps between the building and skipping enemies, or even better landing on their heads. So this is a classic side-scroller. It seems like bad guys don't even pay much attention to me, as they silently walk by me like zombies. For collecting batarangs you'll get extra points, but keep in mind that there are no upgrades or shop to spend them on, they're pretty much useless. Basically, it all comes down to finishing up all levels.

The third sequal

This is the third sequal of Batman's extreme adventure. The previous parts you can play here and here.

Lives

You've got 10 lives. When you loose a life, the game stops temporarily and you just need to wait a little bit and not to click on anything, as the game will continue on automatically.

Who's the green villian?

The real question is who do we have in this game on the side of Batman's enemies. Fat and waddling Mr. Penguin is easily recognizable as he is never separated from his umbrella. But besides him there is a masked bad guy in a green suit with a stick that is curved at the top. The first thing that came to mind is that this is the Riddler. The green suit and cane. But the Riddler is not wearing a mask or boots or a hood. His rod looks different at the top. Speaking of Riddler he appears in this game. It's strange that between the multitude of great characters such as the strong Bane, sexy Catwoman, white knight Two-Face, Mr. Freeze brilliant scientist, crazy witch Scarecrow, obsessive criminal Mad Hatter, and many others, the choice fell on this anonymous one. I hope someone will help and answer the question - Who's that villain?

Overall Impression

As for the game itself is concerned - the general impression is - nothing special. This is the third part of the 'Batman Adventures' and besides the background almost nothing has changed. The enemies are still moving in the same way, Batman still has no weapon and kills them by jumping on their heads. However I decided to play the game and check if something new was awaiting at the higher levels. It turned out that it wasn't.

Levels

Tip: In order to make a successful jump over the gap between the buildings, Batman should bounce off from the very edge. Although there is no option for a double-jump, it seems that Batman jumps slightly better and higher if you hold on and keep the up arrow key pressed down just a bit longer before he lands down. Level two is identical in appearance and perhaps even shorter than the first one. The only thing is that the enemies begin to move in both directions. Level three is completely different. It starts raining, and instead of platforms you have some kind of concrete square blocks floating in the air. You will start seeing big flying birds above the Batman's head. They are treated as obstacles as well, so you make sure to avoid them as well.
