Not only that Spiderman fought against zombies but at one point he also had become one of the living dead. During the period 2005/2006 Marvel Comics had published limited series of only 5 comic editions under the name Marvel Zombies. In a completely new superhero world, in a distant future, all Avengers become infected and turned into zombies. It is well known fact that Spider-man had come and gone from the Avengers group, but as the full member of The New Avengers he also becomes one of the zombies.

What is it about?

In this game 'Spiderman Zombie Run 2' Spider-man is trying to escape from a giant zombie and avoid being bitten and infected. Zombie is not fast enough to catch up with him, but there are many obstacles on Siderman's way and he must jump over all of them. If he trips and falls into the hole he becomes an easy pray and the game is over for the player. The goal of the game is to make it as far as you can. Judging by the instructions, if you play long enough and you collect enough Spider-man symbols, you will be able to take Spiderman into the 'invisible mode' by pressing the spacebar and there you get to dance to the music from 'gangam style'. I never had the chance to try this, but if someone has, please leave a comment below.

Sequel or completely new game?

This game has number 2 in its title but I believe that it has nothing to do with the part one. In Spiderman Zombie Run 1 completely different concept was used, completely different engine. In part one we see a group of zombies chasing our hero down the street, while he is jumping over trash cans. There is some likeness but this is definitely not a sequel per say. The idea is far from an original one. Internet is filled with side scrolling games with obstacles. Comparison to the Temple Run, a famous android game is a bit too much, as far as I am concerned. First, the graphics quality is no match, atmosphere neither, and second this is 2D compared to 3D 'Temple Run' game.

Controls

The only control is the up arrow key used to jump over obstacles and holes. If you hold the key a bit longer Spiderman will jump higher and further. Too bad there is no shooting or any web throwing. Like this, the game gets boring very fast.
