Whack A Batman - Give Your Favorite Superhero A Headache!

Joker's plan is simple and consistent - Let's kill the Batman! Well, I could argue about that. Whacking the Batman is a wacky thing to do. The Joker is completely crazy person, but I remember that he once explicitly said that he doesn't want to kill Batman. Why would he want to do that? Without Batman, as he said in The Dark Knight - he would have to go back to ripping off mob dealers. And that 's the impression we all got through the years - Joker actually means no real harm to Batman. He just want to humiliate him, to make him take off his mask and show a real face to the world. He wants to get him down to his level and show everybody that he's no better than him. Anyway, this is a good opportunity to recall of Heather Ledger's one of the best acting scenes from from Batman's movie. Contrary to what we see in the game, in the movie scene Joker is the one whose face gets whacked, several times.
Whack-a-mole

Digging further about the concept of the game took me back to ancient 80's. What I found is that the first such game was made back in 1976 in Japan and it was called Whac-A-Mole. It was an arcade machine which consisted of flat plate with 5 holes in it and a soft black mallet. The difference to this game was that the moles were popping out from the holes, not the Batman. The idea is to whack a mole and get it back to its hole. The faster you do it, the bigger score you get. Let's see this machine in action in Wallmart store:
This kid is doing pretty good, I guess :)
After a hard-days work, punching Batman's head just might be exactly what you needed. Check out this lady here:
And, as you can see some machines allow you to use two mallets at the same time
