Batman Madness 2 - Holy Barnacles! - Batman is on his way to save the city again

This game is nothing new, I must say, hence '2' in its title, indicating sequel to the last year's hit 'Batman Madness'. Going alone against crazy Joker, driving like hell through a crowded highway really does sound like madness, but Batman is fearless as he doesn't have much choice. Compared to the first part of Batman Madness we finally got here the opportunity to engage some heavy weaponry, and shoot out some missiles attached to batman's favorite vehicle. As you know, shooting was missing from part 1. Yet, shooting on enemies can hardly increase your chances of getting faster to the end line, really, and the same goes for picking up additional fuel tanks. What guarantees your win in this race is eventually getting some extra time, and bumping your way through other cars, and I mean bumping a lot - all the time. Yet, bumping too much can damage batmobile to the point of no return, which you'll know by a heavy dark smoke coming out of it.

The trickiest part about this game is narrow screen showing only few meters ahead and behind Batman's car. That way you can't know what is coming onto you and from which side, so you must be alerted all the time, ready to make some quick maneuver and avoid collision that will slow you down. At first, getting to finish line is really easy, but the number of cars slowly increases on higher levels which is what is going to eventually stop the unstoppable Batman at some point.
