Bat Pang Balloon Popper

You are in Batman Games 2016

This is classic arcade 'pong' game turned into Batman balloon popping adventure. Bat Pang is based on classic arcade 'pang' game where you shoot balls bouncing off the screen. When the ball gets shot it splits in two smaller equal parts, so you need to keep shooting until the ball gets so small that it blows up in only one shot. All this is great, but, how does Batman fits in? Shall we see Dark Knight targeting for joker-face-balls with his batarangs shooting gun? Do these balls somehow endanger Gotham City? Is there an evil master mind behind all this? Or this is just a smart spin off of an old game that utilizes Batman just to squeeze out some attention. Will see.

To make things more interesting there are few gadgets with certain powers throwing in the game: First, there's a 'bomb' which explodes by hitting each and every ball on the screen. Than there's a 'clock' which freezes up all the balls so they become quite easy targets. There's also a 'shield', a power up which makes you completely shock-resistant. Remember, if Bat-pang gets hit by a ball, he dies.

Bat-Pang classic pang turned into Batman balloon popping game

Ok, I must admit that I did expect more out of this game, but it doesn't have to be totally bad game after all. To play it, you just need to move Batman to the left and right with the keyboard arrow keys and to press space bar occasionally to shoot out the batarangs. Or should I say a 'batarang', because Batman decided to save ammo by tying up the batarang to a rope, so it will always return back after shooting out. Clever boy this Batman, isn't he.

Other that this, the game sucks big time. It's slow with minimalistic graphics and it gets boring as hell pretty easily. I mean, you do propagate to new levels, but nothing basically changes there. Batman is still avoiding balls, shooting at them, and there isn't really much to it. I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars if I had to.
