Bartman Zombie Terminator

You are in Batman Games 2014

Bartman Zombie Terminator is game about Bartman, masked superhero from Springfield who is fighting against zombies. Bart is the star from The Simpsons TV show, and this is his alter-ego inspired by Batman. Bartman rides a motorbike armed with some heavy weaponry, something like batcycle. He needs to keep his balance, cool/etc batarangs and shoot his fellow citizens from Springfield who are turned into zombies. If he tips over, the game is over too. You shoot rockets with spacebar. Since bike is constantly moving up and down on a steep track, the moment when you shoot the rockets is very important. The bike needs to be horizontal in regards to the target. At the end, you can use the points you have won to buy upgrades: defense, rocket and bonus.

The Simpsons TV Show

The Simpsons are well known American cartoon series which tells, in a satiric way, the story about one typical American mid class family. Main characters are, the head of the family Homer, his wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie. The series was produced by Fox Television and is airing since 1989. Bart is an obnoxious ten year old who is constantly devising mischief. He is the teenage rebel with no regard to any authority. In the nineties he experiences an absolute success compared to other characters in the show. This period called 'Bartmania' produced the famous single 'Do the Bartman'. And because of that it totally makes sense to make Bart the main hero of this game.

Batman in Springfield?

While I was searching for the connection between Batman and an imaginary city of Springfield I came across an interesting project. It is Springfield Punx and its author is Dan from Canada. His idea was to show how some of famous characters and superheroes would look like if they were living in Springfield. Just what I needed.

On Simpsons wiki site, on page http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Batman there are interesting facts about Batman. Batman is mentioned in at least 10 episodes: 'Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire', 'Mr Plow', Bart The Fink'... It is also known that Bartman at the beginning of the show writes the sentence on the blackboard - 'Batman is nothing without his utility belt!'. In the nineties even the series of comics about Bartman came out. Bartman is Bart's alter-ego, it is how Bart imagines Batman. In Bartman comics he wears a cape, a mask and plays avenger who is fighting against various criminals all over town. He can fly and climb walls. Basically this is the parody on DC's superhero Batman.
